The "Bloggersphere"

There have been some notable people that I've met here in the bloggersphere and I think that if you enjoyed meandering through my blog you'll enjoy looking through theirs too.

Keith is a wonderful fellow who has quite the following to his blog, Musings of an Unapologetic Dreamer.  Whenever I find free time I love to catch up on his posts and dwell on the questions he poses because his posts certainly create discussion, from something as simple as what's on your bucket list to talking about moving on from the past. Keith had found me one day while browsing through blogs and since then I've considered him to be a great friend and someone that I'd love to meet some time in the future.

Greg is someone else who has been there for me and my blog from the early beginning. He writes at Simply, Life and talks about, well, simply put, his life! He's a great guy who is studying architecture and has a lot of wisdom and experience to share. I know that I look to him whenever things get hard, and I hold his advice in high regard.

Daryl is someone that I've met while at Albright, and although his blog is just starting, I figured I would give him a shout out  because he too is a big thinker. Taking a stance on politics, happiness, and all kinds of other things in life, his blog, Life is Beautiful brings together ideas and people from all over. It's definitely one that's going to go somewhere!

Scott is a friend that I've made through the Third Sunday Blog Carnival. I've had a delightful time going through the poems that he has written on his blog, The Plain House. He includes a photo with every post, and if you'd like a recommendation as to what poems to read, I'd highly suggest "The rainbow's beginning" and "Five senses". I promise that if you enjoy my writing, you won't be disappointed by the poetry at The Plain House.

Let me know if you check them out or if you have any suggestions as to other blogs that I could link back to!

  1. Hi Stephanie! I've been following your blog for awhile now--it is really great and I enjoy reading it. Above (on this page) you've invited us to share blogs that we think you might like. I think you might actually enjoy my poetry blog called "The Plain House":
We actually have similar blogs in some ways in terms of style and content. Anyway, if you decide to link to my blog on your site, let me know and I'll add your blog to my blogroll (listed under "Other cool blogs"). Thanks for sharing!

    1. Scott, I've read a lot of your poems (I hope you don't mind my frequent comments!) and I'm so grateful to be able to list you as part of my blogging family. Thank you so much, and I can't wait to read more!

    2. Thank you for the kind words and comments, and for the link on this page. I've added a link to your blog on my website and have added a blog post introducing your site as well. Thanks again! You have a wonderful gift for writing and I'm looking forward to reading more of your work!

  2. Hi Stephanie,

I know you have your own poetry site (which can be a lot of work), but I was wondering if you would be interested in being a contributing poet on my site, The Plain House? I've made a contributor's page with guidelines here:

But the basics would be to send in a short poem (under 100 words) with a picture (something like what I already do) that could be classified using at least one of my existing labels.

I enjoy reading your poetry (especially the haikus) so that is why I thought to ask you if you would be interested in being a contributing poet. Also, there is no obligation--you could write as few or as many poems as you wanted. If you are interested, send me an email at scott {at} theplainhouse {dot} com or leave a message for me on The Plain House site; if you'd rather pass on this--no worries--I would totally understand.

    Take care!

  3. Hi Stephanie,

I hope everything is going well. I just wanted to let you know that I sent the author invitation for The Plain House to your "itsanorganizedmess" gmail account. If you didn't get it or if you need me to send it to a different account, just let me know.

    Thanks again,

    1. I did indeed receive it, and just followed the link a few moments ago. Things are beginning to get a bit hectic as I try to see all the friends and family I can in the last few days before I go back to school. I have a lot of words buzzing around my head, and I can't wait to write them down to post (: I hope to do so within the next week, I promise!

    2. Hi Stephanie! I hope that your last few days with friends and family are good ones.

I can't wait to read some more of your exceptional poetry.

Take care, and safe travels if you are indeed traveling.

      All the best,

  4. I just found this today and let me say I am so flattered to be on your top list here.. As always, feel free to contact me (email, text, whatever) whenever you're in need of a friend!

Any note you wish to leave behind, I wish to read.
